Welcome!

  • “Whenever my brain feels scattered, Amy has an incredible gift for understanding exactly what I mean. Even when I can't quite find the words myself. I always leave our sessions feeling clearer, more focused, and deeply heard and held.”

    — Sasha (they/them)

  • “I have had a lot of therapists and have high standards, and I can honestly say that "Amy's spirit, demeanor, intuition, compassion and authentic non-judgmental presence are a gift to her clients. Amy’s grounded understanding of IFS is folded into our sessions and has really contributed to my healing and integration. I am comfortable sharing everything with Amy (everything) and I am now am kinder to myself and feel more authentically myself than I ever have.”

Services

In medical training there is a saying: See one. Do one. Teach one.

The process of psychotherapy is much the same. Together we see the problem and its history. We do an inquiry into the thoughts, emotions and behaviors connected to the problem. I teach you how to relate to yourself and your mind with compassion and curiosity.

Psychotherapy

Psychotherapy focuses on healing from the past and learning new skills to live better in the present. Coaching focuses on making change for the future. Mindfulness teaches you how to change the way you sleep, breathe and move to help you achieve your goal or improve upon a skill.

mindfulness coaching

Clinical consultation focuses on professional skill-building, self-awareness and most importantly, humility. Sitting in the seat of the client is essential to maintaining curiosity and flexibility. Consultation offers therapists a private and compassionate space to explore what they know and what they don’t. Therapists are encouraged through consultation to return to beginners mind again and again.
